About GVR CUP-2007

GVR CUP 2007 for cricket is an 5 Match series between the Two Teams named Elgible Bachelors and Proud Knotians in GVR Group.

Team Elgible bachelors was headed by Cpt. Prabhu comprising of youngstars from GVR Agencies & GVR group(Catering Service). With spearheaded by the captain in both bowling and batting the team has a strong lineup in bowling having bowlers Vijayshankar,Ramakrishnan and Ramasubbu.

Adding strength to this they have players like Nagendran who can save the team from behind the stumps as an wicket Keeper and smash the bowlers in his opening role in batting. Allrounders Jawahar,Rengasamy and pinch hitter Thangapandi are the stars who are Glittering in the Teams performance

Team Proud Knotians was headed by the experienced active person in the Group Thilakar and rest of the team was builded by the Married persons from the GVR Agencies & GVR group. Having an captain with a experience of decade in cricket the team has strong persons to prove themselves in both bowling and Batting sides. Opening spell of bowling will be taken care by "Walsh" Vellaisamy and accompanying him is "Akram" Paulpandi. Spin deparatment is headed by the captain itself and along with him Murali and Kamlesh will follow to bring headache to opponent batsmen. Apart from them they are having their WK "Push" Pushparaj,"RR" Murugan,"Jayasuriya" Govindan,and Suresh in their list with an allround performance.
